EasyTBSA 1.0

The EasyTBSA smartphone application represents a collaborative effort between the Division of Trauma and Burns and the Sheikh Zayed Institute at Children’s National Hospital. This application is designed to facilitate the estimation of Total Body Surface Area (TBSA) affected by burns.

Users are required to input essential patient details, including age and weight, and to accurately shade burned areas on anatomical maps. It is crucial to adhere to the application's guidelines, specifically shading only the areas affected by partial thickness and full thickness burns. Superficial burns should be excluded from the TBSA calculation to ensure precise assessments.
